Burgers born from obsession: meet our newest Food Partner
Some people make burgers. These two live and breathe them. For founders Jimmy and Paddy, what started in 2019 as a side-hustle experiment quickly spiralled into a full-blown pursuit of perfection. The kind of obsession that turns late-night kitchen trials into signature recipes.
And now, that obsession has a new home: Cambridge Street Collective.
The craft behind the crunch
Every burger on their menu starts long before it hits the grill. Think hand-rolled patties, precise fat blends, and ingredients chosen intensely. Ginger Pig Beef. Paul Rhodes buns. House sauces that have been tweaked, tested, and argued over until they were exactly right.
Their “Do Ya Dare” brings the sweet-heat drama. Their “Oklahoma” leans into pure comfort with caramelised onions and gherkins. Every burger has a personality, and every one of them has a fan club.
Opening day: 50 burger, 50 very happy people
To mark their arrival, they kicked things off with a bang: 50 free burgers for the first 50 guests.
In the morning, the queue was already forming. By lunchtime, the grill was working overtime. And by the end of the day, they’d officially cemented themselves as one of the most talked-about openings.
Why they belong here
Our food halls champion the independents who bring something new, something bold, something crafted. These two fit that brief to a tee. They’re northern to the core, big on flavour, and relentless about quality: the kind of operators who make CSC feel alive.
They don’t just serve burgers.
They serve the result of years of tinkering, testing, and refusing to compromise
What’s next
Now that they’ve landed, they’re not slowing down. Expect specials, expect queues. Expect the kind of burgers that make you plan your next visit before you’ve even finished your first bite.
Welcome to the family, Jimmy’s.
Your obsession is our new favourite thing.
